STRUCTURED CABLING & DATACENTRE

In a Structured Cabling System (SCS) commission, a set of cabling and connectivity products that combines voice, data, video, and many other management systems in a building structure like safety equipments, security access systems, energy systems and equipments are all put in sync and put together. The Principal Companies we are tied up with in this regard are SYSTIMAX, COMMSOCPE(AMP), MOLEX, LEGRAND, DLINK, FINOLEX, NETRACK, VALRACK, RITTAL.

Category 6 cable (Cat 6), is a standardized twisted pair cable for Ethernet and other network physical layers that is backward compatible with the Category 5/5e and Category 3 cable standards.

Cat 6 has to meet more stringent specifications for crosstalk and system noise than Cat 5 and Cat 5e. The cable standard specifies performance of up to 250 MHz, compared to 100 MHz for Cat 5 and Cat 5e.

Whereas Category 6 cable has a reduced maximum length of 55 meters when used for 10GBASE-T, Category 6A cable (or Augmented Category 6) is characterized to 500 MHz and has improved alien crosstalk characteristics, allowing 10GBASE-T to be run for the same 100 meter maximum distance as previous Ethernet variants.

Coaxial cable is a type of copper cable specially built with a metal shield and other components engineered to block signal interference. It is primarily used by cable TV companies to connect their satellite antenna facilities to customer homes and businesses. It is also sometimes used by telephone companies to connect central offices to telephone poles near customers. Some homes and offices use coaxial cable, too, but its widespread use as an Ethernet connectivity medium in enterprises and data centers has been supplanted by the deployment of twisted pair cabling.

Coaxial cable is used as a transmission line for radio frequency signals. Its applications include feedlines connecting radio transmitters and receivers to their antennas, computer network (e.g., Ethernet) connections, digital audio (S/PDIF), and distribution of cable television signals. One advantage of coaxial over other types of radio transmission line is that in an ideal coaxial cable the electromagnetic field carrying the signal exists only in the space between the inner and outer conductors. This allows coaxial cable runs to be installed next to metal objects such as gutters without the power losses that occur in other types of transmission lines. Coaxial cable also provides protection of the signal from external electromagnetic interference.

A optical fiber cables consists of one or more strands of glass, each only slightly thicker than a human hair. The center of each strand is called the core, which provides the pathway for light to travel. The core is surrounded by a layer of glass called cladding that reflects light inward to avoid loss of signal and allow the light to pass through bends in the cable. They're designed for long distance, high-performance data networking, and telecommunications.

The two primary types of optical fiber cables are single mode and multi-mode. Single-mode fiber uses extremely thin glass strands and a laser to generate light, while multi-mode optical fiber cables use LEDs.

Telephone cables is a pair of copper wires runs from a box at the road to a box (often called an entrance bridge) at your house. From there, the pair of wires is connected to each phone jack in your house. Along the road runs a thick cable packed with 100 or more copper pairs.

Telephones are an important invention that have the ability to connect people all over the world. They consist of numerous pairs of copper insulated wires having a diameter that ranges from 0.3 to 0.9 and are either twisted into two or four pairs. These pairs of wires are then connected to each phone jack in your house. There are many different cables that serve different purposes and vary in configuration, size and performance.

A network rack is a metal frame chassis that holds, stacks, organizes, secures and protects various computer network and server hardware devices. The term “network” refers to the rack being used to house network hardware like routers, switches, access points, and modems.

The same rack holds servers and other computer systems, although some are designed with specific device types in mind. The rack works by securing network and other computer hardware within the mounting fixtures via brackets, bolts and other hardware to keep the hardware in its secure place.
